◆三人寄れば文殊の知恵 3nin yoreba Monju no chie.
- 解釈：知恵の無い者でも何人か集まって相談し考えを出し合えば、よい方法が出てくる。「文殊」は知恵を掌（つかさど）る菩薩（ぼさつ）。
- Literal：Three people, according to Manjusri's wisdom.
- Interpretation：Three people have the wisdom of Monju. Two heads are better than one, even if the its a sheep's. Four eyes can see more than two. Four eyes see more than two. Three heads are better than two.
- 類義：三人にして迷う事なし。三人寄れば師匠の出来。
- 反義：三人寄っても下種（げす）は下種。
